Robert Luby Principal Broker
Mr. Luby has been licensed in real estate since 1993 and a Broker since 2012. He attended the University of Cincinnati and holds a BBA degree (double major) in Accounting and Finance. Prior to creating New Leaf Realty Group, Luby worked for over 24 years as the Asset Manager at The Mayerson Company, one of Cincinnati’s most renowned real estate companies. While there, he handled many financial and managerial roles for the company and the family. In 2012, Luby became TMC’s Broker.
Mr. Luby also holds a CPA license with the State of Ohio (inactive). He is a member of Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE), Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors (CABR), Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, Boy Scouts-Troop 18 Treasurer and St. Vincent Ferrer Mens Club.

With an extensive background in banking, corporate management and corporate renewal, Sonny has a highly successful track record as a Turnaround Professional, providing consulting services to companies with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to more than $1 billion. As an Interim Manager, he has run corporations ranging in size from $65 million to $250 million, and has the proven ability to tackle even the toughest of situations. His expertise and broad hands-on experience gives him the edge when it comes to helping businesses of all sizes thrive and grow.
Sonny holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has the distinction of being the only Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) in Greater Cincinnati, and is just one of two in the region to hold this prestigious designation, a highly valued and objective measure of a turnaround professional’s experience, knowledge, and integrity required to conduct corporate renewal work. Sonny is also known for his engaging and informative presentations and workshops on of topics related to Corporate Renewal and Crisis Management.
